Eat Baddies Is Officially Open in Gainesville and It Lives Up to the Hype

If you’ve spent any time on foodie Instagram, chances are you’ve seen Eat Baddies pop up on your feed thanks to Lunch With Lind. After years of watching Lind’s stories and hearing the praise, I finally got the chance to try Eat Baddies for myself and let me just say… In Lind we trust.

Eat Baddies officially opens this Friday, but they kicked things off with a soft opening that immediately had locals buzzing. Tonight they’re open until 9pm, and tomorrow from 5–9pm. If you’re anywhere near downtown, this is your sign to go ahead and add it to your weekend plans.

Affordable, Gluten-Free, and Full of Flavor

One of the biggest standouts? The price point. I ordered a combo on a gluten-free bun for under $15, which feels almost unheard of these days, especially for food that doesn’t sacrifice flavor or quality. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a satisfying meal without feeling like you need to justify it later.

For anyone who eats gluten-free or just wants a solid, no-frills-but-still-fun meal, Eat Baddies is officially a win for the Gainesville Square food scene.

Don’t Skip the Pudding of the Week

Another must-try? Their POTW (Pudding of the Week). During our visit, it was a gluten-free chocolate banana pudding and obviously, we couldn’t say no. Creamy, rich, and the perfect little treat to round out the meal.

If you’re someone who loves rotating specials and dessert surprises, this is something you’ll want to keep an eye on each week.

A New Go-To Spot on the Square

Eat Baddies is conveniently located right next to MerciGrace Boutique, which means it’s dangerously easy for me to pop in often. Shopping, then burgers? Say less.

Overall, I’m genuinely excited to have a cheap, high-quality meal option on the Gainesville Square that still feels thoughtful and intentional. Eat Baddies brings bold flavors, accessible pricing, and inclusive options to downtown, and I have a feeling it’s about to become a local favorite fast.
